Nutraceuticals:

Florastimul. The gastrointestinal tract is one of the most sensitive and at the same time largest organs of the horse. A healthy digestive system sees to it that the ingestion of nutrients proceeds smoothly while reducing the risk of colic. This is achieved through proper ration management, which means feeding the horse sufficient amounts of roughage (crude fiber) and nutritional elements that stimulate the way health-promoting micro-organisms operate inside the large intestine. Florastimul (a prebiotic) is a nutrient that can only be used by benign bacteria and stimulates their growth and development. Moreover, Florastimul prevents adhesion to the intestinal wall and inhibits the growth of pathogenic bacteria. As such, Florastimul supports a healthy intestinal flora, making the horse less susceptible to gastrointestinal upsets.

Ingredients: wheat bran, alfalfa, barley, maize bran, wheat, spelt bran, cane molasses, calcium carbonate, sunflower seed feed, sodium chloride, soya oil, soya feed, fructo-oligosaccharides.

Nutritional additives (per Kg): E672 vitamin A 15000 IU, E671 vitamin D3 1500 IU, vitamin E 50 mg, vitamin B1 3.0 mg, vitamin B2 3.0 mg, 3a880 biotin 100 µg, chloride chloride 80 mg, E1 iron (ferrous sulphate monohydrate) 40 mg, E2 iodine (calcium iodate anhydrous) 0.2 mg, 3b304 cobalt (coated granulated cobalt (II) carbonate) 0.1 mg, E4 copper (cupric sulphate pentahydrate) 40 mg, E5 manganese (manganous oxide) 100 mg, E6 zinc (zinc sulphate monohydrate) 100 mg, E8 selenium (sodium selenite) 0.3 mg.

Analytical Constituents: 13% crude protein, 3.0% crude fat, 7.5% crude ash, 11.5% crude fiber, 1.1% calcium, 0.28% magnesium, 0.35% phosphorus, 0.25% sodium, 6.0% sugar, 19% starch. DE (Digestible Energy): 11.1 MJ/Kg

Feeding Directions:

Give between 0,8% to 1% (max) body weight in combination with a minimum of 1,5% body weight of quality forage and ad libitum fresh water

  • Horses at rest: per animal daily 0.5 to 0.7 kg per 100 kg live body weight.
  • Horses engaged in restricted light work (4 to 6 hours per week, low level): per animal daily 0.6 to 0.8 kg per 100 kg live body weight.
  • Horses engaged in regular light work (5 to 8 hours per week, medium level): per animal daily 0.7 to 1.0 kg per 100 kg live body weight.
