An oat free, non-heating mix for horses and ponies in light to medium work. The mix is fully fortified on an alfalfa base for high quality fibre and contains four different herbs, including garlic and mint.
This is a top quality mix formulated to meet the nutritional requirements of horses and ponies which tend to become unmanageable on other feeds. It has been formulated with the optimum balance of digestible fibres and oil to give sustained energy release and controlled performance. Oats have been specifically excluded from the ration, icronized barley and a small amount of maize provide some soluble carbohydrate which a horse will need for work.

Always try to feed a minimum of 1.5% of bodyweight as good quality forage. E.g. 500kg horse would eat 7.5kg of hay per day.
