Senior Horse is a dry supplement containing herbs such as hawthorn, meadowsweet and burdock and is ideal to give to the veteran horse or pony to support overall health, mobility, all physiological systems and general wellbeing in the older horse or pony.  .

Herbal and complementary healthcare are particularly suited to the older generation, be it animals or people! As our horses age we want to give them the best care we possibly can, to make sure they stay as fit, healthy and mobile as possible. Our Senior Horse will help support your horse or pony’s heart, liver, kidneys, digestive, respiratory, immune, lymphatic, and circulatory systems, helping them to function as effectively as when they were younger.

This uniquely formulated supplement which is suitable for horses or ponies prone to laminitis contains Hawthorn to help maintain a healthy heart; Meadowsweet, Chamomile and Celery seed to support digestion, joint health and mobility; Milk thistle and Burdock to maintain normal liver, kidney health and function, whilst ensuring efficient removal of blood toxins and waste products, along with Ginkgo and Rosemary to help maintain a healthy blood supply, particularly to the extremities.

Ageing is a natural process and today, our 'seniors' can maintain a good quality of life well into their 30's with the help of veterinary care and appropriate feeding, farriery and dentistry.

SENIOR HORSE is formulated to maintain and support:

  • normal digestion
  • a healthy circulatory system
  • supple joints and muscles
  • liver and kidney function

Its liquid equivalent, Senior Horse Gold, is often used first due to its quicker initial absorption (we do not suggest you give both together).
