Description

Oestress Liquid is a fast acting liquid tincture which compliments the mare's natural oestrus cycle by encouraging regularity and providing extracts of herbal ingredients that have been used for hundreds of years to support hormone balance.

By improving her diet with Oestress, you are helping your mare to help herself. Oestress also provides bio-available magnesium to relax muscle tension and encourage calmness. Lastly, Oestress is rich in natural antioxidants to naturally support a healthy system.

Oestress should be fed daily throughout the spring and summer season and may be increased in accordance with her oestrus cycle. However, if needed Oestress is suitable for year round use.

Composition: Water, Magnesium chloride, Glycerine, Chastetree berries, Black cohosh, Crampbark.

Additives (per L): ginger 14.8 ml, milk thistle 33.4 ml, rose (rosehip) 29.7 ml, turmeric 18.5 ml.

Analytical Constituents: Crude protein 0.8%, Crude oils and fats 0.3%, Crude ash 2.4%, Crude fibre 0.1%, Sodium 0.03%, Moisture 89.4%

Feeding directions:

Feed whenever seasonal behavioural changes and tension are seen in mares which can affect temperament and performance. Feed with the daily meal:

  • Peak rate (3-7 days): between 75-100 ml per day
  • Maintenance: 25-50 ml per day

Introduce gradually for fussy feeders. Loading rate may be used initially and during peak timer of her season.

Maintenance levels may be adjusted to suit the individual and are not necessarily related to bodyweight.

Also suitable for colts and gelding showing “riggy” behavior.

Not recommended for pregnant mares and discontinue use on brood mare two months prior covering.

Store in a dry place. Replace lid after use.

Testimonials

" Miss Congeniality (Genie) is a 10 year old unregistered Welsh Cob who I have owned since a 4 year old. Initially shown with good success at local level we then turned to dressage. She is a typical opinionated welsh mare – if she doesn’t want to do it you do not stand a chance and you have to convince her that it is actually on her terms. My local tack shop, Pinkers Saddlery, recommended Oestress to me a few years ago and I decided to try her on the liquid. Since feeding Oestress she has been so much easier to work with and our results at dressage have improved. We have been to the BRC Dressage Championships at Royal Windsor in 2012 where we came 7th, the BRC National Championships at Lincoln in 2012, and most recently in 2014. This year we were in the Prelim Riding Test where we won our arena on 80%, something I doubt would have happened without Oestress as when I have run out I have noticed the difference in her. Thank you NAF!

Esme is a twelve year old British Warmblood, we enjoy happy hacking these days with a bit of competing locally when we get the chance. I had trouble with tacking up and getting on as Esme was so tense and felt ‘cold-backed’. I had never thought of using a hormonal supplement as there seemed no particular pattern to her behaviour, so had not connected the unpredictability with her seasons. I was sceptical of any hormonal supplements but cannot believe the difference in her behaviour which I noticed within a week of feeding Oestress liquid. I can now go for a hack and know that I am going to get back to the yard in one piece! I can see that her whole body has relaxed and she is much happier in general. Charlotte Walters.”
